  1. Create custom menus for your header bar by going to Appearance - Menus.
  2. Create a new menu if you don't already have one, and choose widgets to add to your primary menu.
  3. Create a new menu widget section for your header top social links.

Step 3: Widgets and Features

  1. Make some widgets for your widgets! You can add most modern widgets to your tiny_salt theme.
  2. Show off your recipes or special features on your header for your visitors.

Populating Your Blog with Posts and Pages

Congratulations on setting up your WordPress food blog! Now let's add some content:

Creating Posts

Posts on your blog are individual blogs, like this! How to create a blog or post:

  1. The "Posts" panel lists all your blog post contents.
  2. From inside the "Posts" listing, click the Add post button.
  3. At the top of this button, you can decide.
  4. In "add new post" we added a title, summary / description, and finally tags.
  5. Attach these images to your own uploaded images.
  6. There are many more blog design options, such as page layout, image height

Creating Pages**

As you can see now this is a page example I made. How we started:

  1. Access panel "Pages" panel through the "Posts".
  2. Click the page buttons.
  3. Type content in the "Full".
  4. Add categories/ tags for your custom styles.
  5. Now customize your page design if and as you want and are ready to go! These are the steps! What do you think. Here's a little update

    Adding Recipes, Ratings, and Reviews

Site Identity

In the "Site Identity" settings, you can configure the basic information of your website. To access these settings, go to Appearance > Customize > Site Identity.

  • Site Title: Enter the title of your website.
  • Tagline: Enter the tagline of your website.
  • Site Icon: Upload an icon to represent your website.

Color Scheme

In the "Color Scheme" settings, you can configure the color scheme of your website. To access these settings, go to Appearance > Customize > Color Scheme.

  • Primary Color: Choose the primary color for your website.
  • Secondary Color: Choose the secondary color for your website.
  • Background Color: Choose the background color for your website.
  • Text Color: Choose the text color for your website.

Header

In the "Header" settings, you can configure the header of your website. To access these settings, go to Appearance > Customize > Header.

  • Header Layout: Choose the layout of your header.
  • Header Logo: Upload your logo to display in the header.
  • Header Tagline: Enter the tagline to display in the header.

Footer

In the "Footer" settings, you can configure the footer of your website. To access these settings, go to Appearance > Customize > Footer.

In the "Recipe" settings, you can configure the recipe format. To access these settings, go to Appearance > Customize > Recipe.

  • Recipe Format: Choose the recipe format to display (e.g. list, table, etc.).
  • Servings: Choose whether to display the servings field or not.
  • Difficulty: Choose whether to display the difficulty field or not.
  • Cooking Time: Choose whether to display the cooking time field or not.
